Who these are for
- Family members looking for something calm and pleasant to do with a parent or partner who has dementia.
- Activity staff in memory care, care homes and day centers who need printable sessions that suit mixed abilities.
- Anyone visiting a person with dementia who wants an easy way to start a conversation.
How to print and use them
- 1Pick one activity, not a whole pack, and lay it out on a clear table with good light and the TV off.
- 2Do the first one together so the idea is clear, then help as much as needed. Doing it together counts.
- 3Print the card pages on thicker paper (card stock) so they are easier to pick up.
- 4Stop while it is still enjoyable, and note on the tracker page what they liked so you can do more of it.
These printables are for enjoyment and connection. They are not a memory test and they do not treat, slow or prevent dementia. If you notice a sudden change in memory, mood or behavior, talk to their doctor.

Questions
Which activity should we start with?
For most people, the sorting cards or the conversation cards: there are no wrong answers and they work at almost any stage. The worksheets and word searches suit people who still enjoy reading and writing.
Are the answers included?
Yes. The activity pack, the dementia worksheets, the word searches and the trivia all have their answers on separate pages at the back, so you can help without guessing.
Can I use them in a care home or day center?
Yes. Print and copy them for the people you care for. Please link to this page rather than uploading the PDFs to another website.
